Get a good heart rate monitor.
It’s the only way to know, on average, how many calories you are burning while you are working out. Without it, you are blind.
Don’t workout without one. You’ll be doing yourself some good just by working out, but you won’t have a clue just how much. It’s only an estimate, but that’s better than having no idea. This goes back to Lesson 5, in knowing your numbers. You put those, with these, and that tells you how much, on average you should eat per day. How much? Haha. Good question. I try for a serious deficit every day. If I can hit 1000 calories under, then I am happy.
Trust me, this one is key.
